SHAMify Wrapped 2024
Another year, another me not watching enough TV shows to warrant the Shammy’s. But I did watch some bangers!
Number of (completed) TV shows I watched in 2025 and my ratings respectively:
Andor
Attempted to go see a special screening of episode 7 and 8 with a Q&A with Diego Luna after but the event “capped out” conveniently right as we got to the head of the line 😡
We still got to see Diego Luna tho 👀

Side Quest
Typical mid mini series. Not horrible but not nearly entertaining enough for me to want to watch another episode, even if there are only 4 of them.

Teenage Bounty Hunters
The internet community really loved this show and were outraged it got cancelled but I do not see it and this was bad.

New album release + one of my go-to playlists is a The Weeknd mix I made to prep for a concert I went to in 2022.
Pop
For some reason, it lists Alternative as the real “top genre” but in the highlights it’s pop. I’m offended. I’m alt as fuck!
Heat Above by Greta Van Fleet
I will always be the first to say that Greta Van Fleet is just shitty Led Zeppelin but this song had a chokehold on me in 2025. Not sure exactly why but maybe because every time I hear the singer I just think of this guy:
No idea of that’s what he/she/they/the band actually looks like but the vibes feel correct.
Hurry Up Tomorrow
Good album. Not my fav. Didn’t realize I listened to it as much as I did. Not mad about it I guess.
Other things I’d like you to take into consideration:
Glee Cast made it into the rotation?!!?!? I am simultaneously proud and ashamed of this. Especially since I’m no Glexpert™️ (Glee expert) since I stopped watching the show after 1.5 seasons.

AbracDAM-bruh! Hell yeah! None of these come as a surprise. It’s true these were on heavy rotation throughout the year.

But the minutes! Wow. I know it’s very pick-me to brag about the minutes listened and I ain’t even trying to do that. I’m just pointing it out because Spotify always makes it a huge deal.

- I know Roddy is a song by Djo, and I did listen to him but I can’t recall of the top of my head what the sogn actually sounds like.
- Change by whomst? Taylor Swift from her Fearless album back on the early 2000s? That’s the only song that comes to mind at the moment and it’s def not my fav from that album (Fifteen stan 5 eva)
- Who’s Afraid of… Virgina Wolf by Dala? Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf by the B5 (I think that’s a thing? From like a Disneymania mix also from the early 00s?) Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me by Taylor Swift? Again not my favorite song by her and I don’t think I listened to it more than once— if at all— in 2025?
- I Wanna Dance… With Somebody by Whitney Houston? Could be.
- Rocket Man (I T… I really am not sure. Is this THE Elton John? I’ve never been a big EJ fan in the past but maybe this song was in a playlist I turned on once or twice this past year that accounts for the 332 minutes I listened?
