Lesson: The other day my friend sent me an article about the rising trend of “emotional spending” amidst the pandemic. It was a personal attack but no words have rung truer. Strolling down the aisles of the Arc, prowling on Facebook Marketplace, collecting curbside alerts, these are my comforts.
